Historic MS Walk - 30 Mile Walk

I am walking 30 miles in two days for MS. Here are my reasons...

I have lived with the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis for all my life. My father was diagnosed with MS in 1988. I watched him on his good days and I saw him struggle on his bad days. He had the worst possible type of MS that anyone could have. The MS effected his walking and moods first. It worked it's way up his spine making it impossible to complete easy tasks. His health really deteriorated and his mind went with it. By the time I went to college he was no longer walking, hardly ever recognized the people around him, and was living on a hospital bed in our living room. My father was lucky to have a nurse as a wife because whenever there was a problem she would do anything in her power to help him. My father passed away two days after Christmas in 2008. We all miss him very much but are relieved that he is not suffering anymore.

I walk for him and all the other family and friends that I know that have had to deal with this disease and all of it's disabling side effects. Help me by making a small donation to this cause to help find the cure for MS so that scientists may find a cause and cure for MS.
